Manager Jambosteve86 was a relieved man after the full time whistle on Tuesday. He took the decision to leave 2 star players out the squad who were 1 booking away from a suspension. Olvan Magarian and Ferhan Yesil were both in the stands as Steve put out a couple of our youngsters in the hope they would get the job done. Fortunately they did, however the Unit were a tougher nut to crack than first time around when we waltzed out their own patch with a 4-1 victory. In the game, The Unit were fast out the block and took the lead with a penalty in the 19th minute through Alfred Bowey. We equalised almost instantly through a Gunther Messer free-kick and then 5 minutes later Samuel Tankian had us 2-1 up and it looked like it could be easy street. However it was not to be, 2 injuries meant we had an attacking line of a 17 & 18 year old and it was very much squeaky bum time as the minutes ticked away. Thankfully no more scoring and we got out with the 3 points. 9 games in and we are in a nice position, 2 points behind the unbeaten Flossy at the top with a 4 point gap to Cromarty in 3rd. Next up, Socket Brasov, who we lost to earlier in the campaign 3-1 and in-truth it was a bit of season defining moment as we were battered. However we have then went on to win the next 4 in the league since. We can't wait for Tuesday to come around and exact some revenge.
