Win sees Minnows break clear at top
Today, we faced 'FC Tutto Grande' for the second time this month and having drawn against them on the 3rd June 0-0 at home, I was hoping we could go one better at home.  A victory would mean we would own first place alone and not have to really on a tie-breaker.  I chose to go with an attacking 3-5-2 formation with a normal playing style against a quality team, because despite not having a manager they have some really good players that negate this.

'FC Tutto Grande' played well for opening five minutes or so, before we started to have some success.  In the 11th minute we suffered a set-back when Gavin Calderwood was injured and he was substituted by Tomas Schimmelpfennig.  On 14 minutes, Günther Schirmer gave us the lead with a shot from inside the box assisted by Hartmut Witzel.  We had waves of pressure on their defence but we were unable to extend our lead despite a powerful shot from Günther Schirmer, which forced a save from their keeper.

In the 62nd minute, we had an opportunity through a free kick but David Kessler's effort was wide of the goal.  On 81 minutes, 'FC Tutto Grande' nearly equalised with their effort clipping the outside of the post.  In the 85th minute with pressure building from our opponents,  we made a second change with David Kessler making way for Marcell Gehlen at the back.  Deep into injury time and 'FC Tutto Grande' forced our keeper Rand Shayol Ghul to make another good save.

The result means we are 3 points clear and heading for promotion as 'FC Tutto Grande' were the only team to offer resistance.  Hopefully, we can now concentrate fully on player development for next season.
