Champions!

Despite the fact that a decisive rounds remains of the Power League season 53, the league has its new champion. With a comfortable win with 2-0 at home against BISCAS TEAM, the newcomers in the highest division La Revolución Habana has won their first league title since season 8.

In La Habana's last match of the season at home at Estadio La Polar, the stakes were quite high. In case of loss to Biscas men, could chasing Encoders FC nibble in and just be one point behind La Habana before the final round. In the event of a tie, we also had opened up for Encoders to claim the league victory. Therefore, a win would be the safest way and also secured the league win.

And what a start La Habana gets in usch a crucial match. Already after 11 minutes played, the goalmachine Enrico Rambert steps up and makes 1-0 on a free kick. This was Ramberts 13th (!) league goal in the same amount of games. But it  wasn't over quite yet.

The half ended with 1-0 and a small advantage with the ball possession to the homeside. When the second half kicked of the nervousness was sky high. We only had a lead with one goal but the news was reached that the Encoders were down 1-0 to the last placed Athletico MáKidd. In this moment, we're champions.

With great confidence, the team played some nice football and just tried to hold the league. After one hour of playing, La Habana did a change in triplets where defender Wallengren went off the field in favour of 25 year old Zashitnik, Sechelariu replaced by the experienced Gustave Forje and the teenager Guang Hu Pu was substituted for the new acquisition Tadg Coyle.

Only two minutes after the substitutions, Enrico Rambert stepped up once more and banged in 2-0, on yet another freekick. In total, this was Rambert's 26th goal or assist of the season. With that goal, the end result was final as BISCAS TEAM failed to scored any reduction.

2-0 and La Revoulución Habana jump up to 33 points as Encoders, who managed to win with 3-1, are now trailing by four points with only one game reamining.

However, the celebrations and partying will have to wait. Already on sunday La Habana will face of the division 3 side FCMB in a grand slam final of the Power League Cup edition 53.

Will La Revolución Habana win its third cup title in total, first since season 50 and secure the double of season 53 or not? Everything is determined this Sunday at 6:30 pm Xperteleven time.
