The Fifth Column
Division 5:30, Power League
Trener: Woodstock11
Big change still yet good start
Over the silly season after The Fifth Column had just missed out on promotion to Division 1 and whilst enjoying the yearly vacation at the cozy island Alcatraz manager Woodstock had a long talk with his team.

"Two of our players told me it was time to hang up their boots and we discussed the fact that our team in general was aging quite a lot. Some of our seasoned legends told me being willingly to cash in on some big contracts at the end of their impressive careers. So in good spirit El Hadry, setubal and Baron left the building leaving a great legacy and they will return to positions within the club when they also retire."

Two younger talents also were sold and an amount of over 35 million econ was raised. All went invested in no less than 5 new players. Great talents and bringing the team's average age down with 2,5 years. Even more when Anastase and Cheng retire.

"We are very happy with the changes although the question now is if we can compete with the strong teams in the division. The skill levels are crazy strong like previous episodes of our adventures in Division 2. We will need to have a good cup run and have the possibility to play our youngest there as much as we can and we might be able to remain in Division 2."

Meanwhile the season is underway and the Five Points club got of to a good start with many of the newest players having their first showing on the pitch in first cup encounter which was won 3-0. The fans also saw their favourites win the first league encounter with 2-0 in a packed Hell's Kitchen.

All in all times are good and hopefully it stays that way. Next up the second leg against Heartbreakers which will see a bunch of teenagers making a good showing if all goes to plan.
