Lucky Escape!
After leading Division 3f for a good chunk of the season, we found ourselves in the playoff spot after the final round of league matches. Up against the similarly skilled Royal Tenenbaums, we managed to clinch our spot in Division 2 for next season with a great 2-0 win!

The big surprise was the source of the winning goal - Fernando Carvao. He was only ever in the squad to make up the numbers and as cover for our other mentor, Don Flood. Don played 21 matches for us this season, but was bang out of form going into this big decider - so we plumped for Carvao, who had only played 3 times so far this season. So for him to get the crucial goal showed that you never know who the hero might turn out to be!

Big congratulations to Squid-Kid and his Cyka Blyat team for winning the division. We had them beat on skill bars, and didn't lose to them this season, but they earned their automatic qualification through their consistency. Knowing how the draws work in here, we'll likely face them again next season, so we will need to come up with some new answers to try and beat them to first place.

Our change report was pretty decent. The side is starting to look like one of the best out there in the official leagues and we have a great core of 16/17 skill players to be able to mix it with the big boys, and some younger talent also on their way to becoming stars.

We want back to back promotion and to go deep in the Cup. Let's see what the new season brings!
