FK Radnik Roystjina failed to make the most of their chances away at Sporting Murmansk as they fell to a 2-1 defeat that confirmed both Radnik's relegation and Murmansk's title success. The visitors had more chances than the hosts in the first half, but foundered on a strong performance from home goalkeeper Pavel Tyulin. That made them vulnerable to a counter-punch, which was provided on 51 minutes as the hosts went ahead. Ailbhe Mahony responded for Radnik soon after, but the third of three goals in relatively quick order soon came and once again it put Murmansk back in front 2-1. By this point, news was filtering through that Radnik's fight was forlorn as the side they were chasing, Subaru Super Stars were holding on to the 1-0 advantage they had established over Division 3d leaders-at-the-start-of-the-day Black Lotus. As Radnik needed both a win themselves and a defeat for S3 to survive, this meant they were miles away from the scores needed. The game petered out from the Radnik point of view, leaving them 6 points adrift of fifth place in the final analysis. Boss Janik commented "This has been a disappointing season, particularly the end of it. Four straight defeats at the end is going down without even a whimper"
