Division 5:6, League Of Champs
Manager: Legrandefromage
Champion
After eight years and four months, five relegations and ten promotions, Superben have made their way to the topppermost of the poppermost in the League of Champs.

Having been within a few minutes of the title last week, LGF took no liberties and threw everything at the already relegated Sporting Corleone Paler today, even though there was good chance that Phil would most probably be using the rest of the season for picking up DV.

The mild irony of winning the title at their 'Nightmare Opponent' and only team to beat them this season was not lost on manager LGF, "it's been a long journey for sure. I don't think it's sunk in yet, I'm a little bit stunned. I remember taking charge of the club in September 2010 in Division 5 and looking up at all of those teams above us... then we got relegated twice in the following three seasons and suddenly there were thousands more above us.

"I don't think anyone can say we are a great team. We've not bothered the top of the Team of the Month listings and we've had very few players feature in each team of the round... but, after a shaky start, we ground out results and if we didn't win, at least we didn't lose.

"I'd like to think our season gives every other manager struggling to cobble together a successful charge for the top divisions some hope - if that bloody clueless cheese bloke can do it, then anyone can."
