Karthik was jubilant on his team's playoff success which ensured they will be playing in division 5 in the coming season.
On asking on how he feels, he said:
"The league was special, we aimed for the highest finish possible, and the lads should sleep happily tonight. I am sad to see some of our seniors deciding to hang up the boots, but as they say, club will stay forever. We have good influx of exciting youth coming in through the youth system. We may be a bit conservative in the transfer market as our financial situation is not great at the moment, but we will get there soon.
"Mostly I would miss my fellow rival manager Vidy90, his team always caused us all sorts of problems. The touchline incident and shoving of Vidy was uncalled for, but that is football; you get emotional in the heat of the moment. At the end of the day we both would hang out in a pub and discuss more football, that's how life is. We are two managers who are very obsessive and passionate about this sport, I will definitely miss playing against him."
