What will happen to Promo's GK Sesa?

After yesterday’s shock announcement before Promo's game it has emerged that the GK Sesa has been placed on the transfer list and so it appears he has played his last game for promo eleven.

We caught up a with him as he was leaving the ground and he had this to say:

“I spoke with the manager and he told me he has a zero tolerance for drinking before game and he also said that as the senior player I should have known better, and not encouraged our future star defender to join me in the drinking I was engaged in. So it's true that I have been told I am to be sold, I was also told I’m lucky as I could have gone the same way as the young defender and been sacked but the board refused to let the gaffer sack me.”

We asked him if there was anything he wanted to say to the fans who would be extremely disappointed in his conduct this week.

“I want to apologise to the fans at this time and to the manager and all my team mates for letting them down, I've let my drinking get out of control and to that end I am going on to rehab to get some help and hopefully when I come out I can either regain my place in promo eleven or try and rebuild my career else where.”

Asked whether at 33 he might be considering retirement from the game he said that he still felt he had a good couple of years left in him.

It remains to be seen if he can turn his career back around at this stage.
