WFG: 9 Years a MANager!

Wickets for Goalpost Anniversary Edition Sunday the 24th of April was a special day in the life of Xpert Eleven Manager Cricket Rulz.  It marked the 9th anniversary of the gaffer taking the reigns of one time Ultimate League Champions Cricket Utd.  Back in 2007 the Ultimate League was begining its 7th season and the rookie boss took a little time to find his feet.  Once he had there was a run of success taking in 6 division titles and then finally the big one in season 24.  There have been other successes of course such as reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League.  A cup semi-final appearance.  95 manager of the round awards and more recently in February a Manager of the Week honor.   There's been a lot of changes to Xpert Eleven over the years.  New owners, Advertising uproar in the guise of Mr Green.  An extended edition of crime and punishment in Transfergate where some long standing managers had their sides decimated due to irregularities.   Yes, there's been a lot happened, some controversy, some success, a few failures and its been, well.... just like real life football really.  I can honestly say I've not 'yet' become board with the game and still enjoy setting up my teams although there are a few less.  Real life does have its place after all!  So thank you X11 for a lot of good times and hopefully, if we can keep building and winning, a few more to come.  Cricket Utd since 24-04-2007
