Getting high or on a comedown?
After the head to head games in the middle of the season Heeds have came out of it probably the best out of the front 3 runners. Certainly better than I thought was going to be the outcome anyway after expecting us to be at least 2 points behind Sensi nevermind the Sunbeams.

There was little doubt Sensi was going to pick up all 6 points, but the good news is we've kept up with them after picking up full points against what is a decent side in our head to head games. The big bonus is Sensi has now used up their games against the team rebuilding while we still have one in hand. The big shock was Sunbeams actually dropped points, even if they still haven't had another team score a single goal aginst them (Seriously what is up with that? Is Grant bribing the forwards of the other teams not to score against him or something?). Whatever is happening it's good news that the other teams are starting to realise how to take points off them.

Next up is a game I would normally look forward to, a head to head against another top of the league team. They usually bring out the best in the players and also give us a vital opportunity to put some clear air between us and our main rivals. Unfortunately like last time we played against them the squad is not 100% to put it lightly. We've got a major crisis in midfield and have the option of playing two not great players in midfield, playing one not great player in midfield and moving Borner back into midfield, neither of which is really something that I think will win us the game away from home, or changing the formation to put out a stronger starting 11. Normally changing formation is not something I would even think about as it not only gives Sensi the chance to guess our formation (although luckily we have a few options to change to which should hopefully see us ok in the next match), but it also messes up future matches as we try to get back to the preferred 4-5-1 which other managers will be able to easily guess in future games. What will we do? Only time, and maybe if Asdabayor puts on his lucky hat, will tell.
