The Outcasts achieved promotion to the 6th tier of the Ultimate League with a game to spare as a fantastic run in the second half of the season saw them win all their games since the mid point back to back games against Substandard Liege, a run of seven successive victories in all, conceding just seven goals and scoring an impressive twenty one in that run. The last game against second place C L Instanbul 05, managed by The Outcasts manager Nugget's good friend Plaristocrates, was the clincher for Nugget, a 2-1 victory good enough to ensure The Outcasts cannot be caught at the top of the table with just one game left. "There was talk of C L only being interested in taking a point due to both teams being in the top two places of the division, but it's worked out really well as third placed Rayo also lost so hopefully Plaristocrates can take the three points in the last game and get into the play-offs". "As far as Division 5 goes, I do expect us to be one of the weaker teams at that level, but it certainly won't do our progress any harm to be playing against stronger teams at a higher level, I've no doubt the lads will make the step up and hopefully we can avoid relegation in our first season or two up there as the squad continues to develop".
