Rovers First League Defeat of Season
Rovers went down 4-1 to Scousers at Deep Sea Fruit Park, this is the first defeat for them in the league this season. Scousers have been a team that Rovers have usually struggled against, however the win away at Scousers earlier in the season had given some hope, but that was soon crushed by a ruthless Scousers team. Rovers were looking light in midfield with a couple of players out for suspension and injuries and with Rovers already a goal behind when Nordström was forced to limp off, the floodgates opened, in 10 games they'd only conceded 6 goals, but Scousers grabbed 4. Tightens things up a bit at the top Rovers lead reduced to 4 points.
