| Liberty City FC hire Schmidt |
Hans Schmidt is the new manager of Liberty City FC and he is happy to land his first job in a public league.
"It was a tough search and I was waiting for somebody to approve of my application," he said.
"Other admins kept me waiting, so I looked elsewhere. I was glad that the Master League administrator approved of my application for Liberty City manager.
"I want to take over team and change it for the better. I feel that I can do that here. There are plenty of players that I want to bring in and I will do what I can with a limited budget."
Schmidt was asked about the potential style of play but he wasn't giving too much away.
"I want to focus on recruiting players first, then we can work on a playing philosophy to suit whoever is at my disposal," he said.
"I don't want to put 10 men behind the ball. I can assure you of that. Whether we play tiki-taka, gegenpressing, jogo bonito, Total Football, the Danubian Whirl, passavotchka, or the scuola sacchiana, it doesn't matter for now. We will come to that conclusion soon enough. "
