The Fifth Column
Division 4a, Power League
Manager: Woodstock11
Why?
This is what has been on the mind of most of the Five Points residents as they saw their homegrown favourite player Arnold Makelele sold for a record amount of econ.

"Such a shame! He was such a prodigy and it is also not that the club at the moment is actually needing the econ! The manager has gone totally bananas selling off all our best players one by one!"

And truth being told there for sure is something to say about the fans' complaints. A 23-12 player moving out seems well odd.

"We need the econ long term! And frankly it has more to do with the Change Report we had during the silly season. A midfielder had to go and well this was the only valid option."

Actually The Fifth Column scouting apparatus has been seeking a super talent for the vacant midfield position. It is just these gems are so rare they have not found one.

"We got a 17-4 for 100k in case we would not find this gem so we at least have a player to develop and make it easier to develop the rest of the team. We will now put the search on hold probably. Keep our econs in our pockets until next season and go from there."

In any fashion the season started out bumpy in all ways. For this stuff but also on the pitch. Not for the loss against old foes Timanfaya yesterday but somehow TFC drew the first leg in the cup, which put them in the awkward position of having to field some of the older players for leg two against the Gotham Blades instead of youngsters if only to prevent a debacle.
