The fans in the Five Points are in an utmost happy state after this afternoon's game in their home stadium Hells Kitchen against FC Solca.

A very solid game was played and all points were bagged with a 1-0 win which also saw The Fifth Column taking top spot in division 4p.

"We were in total control of the game all 90 minutes even with a 4-3-3 formation. Being in pole position is great after a somewhat bumpy first half of the season. We will have much to play for in the season's second half. We will try to play for a play off spot, maybe even top spot. But the teams obviously sit very close to each other and we are not the only ones with these aspirations."

What does help a bunch is The Fifth Column getting their average form up to an awesome 18. Which obviously came at a rather big investment of a large chunk of econs.

"Sure we got some extra staff and we took a bonus trip to Alcatraz mid season to get the players all sharpened up. We took the cost of a couple of million on the chin because with our early cup exit we do have to assure the development this way."

Meanwhile The Fifth Column still put some of the "older" players on offer.

"We actually prefer the team size of 19. But we can fix this issue if we sell a player next season. These players are on good development values so interested teams should take notice. And like always, you will not find that many players this cherished and nourished of great quality put there!"

Next up it is match two versus FC Solca. Away this time. The Fifth Column will have to field some of the youngest but still a decent result might well be in the cards.
