Swann & Helmet have survived another season in the top flight and this has brought great joy to the gaffer after another challenging season with the big boys at school.
People ask, why persist with a squad that is never going to win the big prize, or the Cup for that matter, the answer is always the same.
From starting out playing this amazing game the end goal has always been the same, play at the highest possible level in every league I partake in, sure some titles in private leagues have come and gone along the way with some Cup wins as well, but that's not the be-all and end-all to my style or thinking.
To be with the best, competing with the best teams and Bosses is all that really matters in my DNA. Winning is sure a lovely feeling however testing yourself against the very best is what really matters to me.
Next season, we'll surely be the relegation favourites again, and this time the prediction might be right, however let me bask in the glory one more time of being with the best, amongst amazing peers who really know the true value of sporting greatness. We'll never join that elite, obviously, however I once shared a lift in a store with the great Sean Connery and still didn't want to be an actor.
And Leicester City won the Premier League.
Be true, stay strong and good luck to all.
