Courtroom saga is at an end |
"Why can't they bloody trust us?!" proclaimed Fabbyulous after a transfer saga took a whole weekend to sort out, costing him valuable training time with his Dwong team before a crucial run-in for the Division 2c title in order to achieve promotion to Division 1 next season.
Having transfer listed his forward earlier this week, ten bids of various amounts were all made for Dwong's young starlet, 20 year old Eder Silveira. The intelligent Brazilian had struggled to assert himself at the Xtreme League side, behind both Arnelius and Winrow in the pecking order, and after a furious bidding process - Slovenian Stars won the battle to acquire one of xpert's most prestigious talents.
Or so we thought.
For before the transfer was completed, it was announced that the transfer was being investigated due to reports that particular favours had been offered to both Fabbyulous and Silveira's agent in order to speed up the transfer process. A quite comical outbreak since the last time Dwong were being investigated for potential fraudulent activity, it was after a tip-off from long time friend and rival, Adam_moran!
Representatives of both clubs, including both managers, were hauled into court for the weekend to give their account on the transfer, likewise was the agent involved and the player himself.
After an extensive search into the accounts from both clubs, the going rate for players with "stamina" and an inspection into the bikini-clad Brazilian women that had left Fabbyulous' bachelor pad within a couple of days of Silveira's place on the transfer market; it was found that several instances of questionable behaviour had been witnessed - none of which were relevant to Silveira's transfer to the Slovenian Stars and thus in the early hours of Monday morning, the transfer was finally completed with Eder Silveira being registered as a new player for the Stars.
Fabbyulous however was not pleased about the invasion of his private space and the time taken to investigate such a transfer.
"Why's it anyone's business what I get up to behind closed doors? You wouldn't see investigators trying to look into what happens behind closed closets so what's the difference?"
"All in all this long drawn out process has cost us valuable time training the players and with such important fixtures coming up in the league - it is time we can ill afford to waste."
"Thank God it's at an end. I'll be getting the Brazilian cocktails out come the end of the season if we make it through to win the title against the odds after this case. Mark my words!"
