A solid start to the season for Newpark FC as they enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 1st leg Cup win away at Ravens Nest, followed by a 1-1 home draw at home against Gwernfadog United.
Gaffer Wd concentrated on the League point gained admitting he had hoped for more but this is a top Division this season and the visitors fully deserved their point in what was an even enough game.
Next up the 2nd leg Cup game at home to Ravens Nest.
