Sons bounce back
Two losses last week left Sons of Apollo somewhat reeling, however the boost of veteran defender and club captain Lazaro Fraga to the back line for a match of massive importance proved pivotal as SoA got the better of Aschersleber Raben at theirs to move out of the drop zone for the first time this season.
It was the experienced pair of Fraga and striker Stelica Crãiasa who combined for the latter to fire home the game's only goal. The home side threatened only once whereas for Sons it could have been more.
There are still five games to go through and, although Gmswjambo's side now sit fifth nothing can be taken for granted as both the bottom two seem to be showing signs of a resurgence - as we found out only too well last week. It will be important to give Dark Horses everything on Tuesday night as they showed impressive reslilience to steal a point from their trip to Gwernfadog.
