Maybe Malaga went too far or ref Luke Bribe had seen enough, as the end of the first half sees a Malaga player sent off and Matchstick Men equalise with a penalty. All square at the break, Brazil tells his team that their title contenders are also drawing and to keep doing the same things.
"I didn't mean let Malaga take the lead again, bad news here and worse news from our rivals as they've gone ahead in their match," Brazil glums, "at this point we are second in the table. The dream is over."
Matchstick's captain Haas is made of sterner stuff, pulls the team together and scores twice to put the Matchsticks back in front in the match and in the table. Brazil takes his head from his hands and risks a smile, which gets broader as his team's fourth goal goes in on the 88th minute.
"Four two!" Brazil beams at the final whistle, "coming from behind twice, what a mad match to win the title but we've done it. Time to light the fire Matchstick Men, the beacon of victory!"
