Newpark FC entertained Division 3e leaders Therranti Fistle last night in the first of their mid season double header where a hard working performance saw them take the 3 points with a narrow 1-0 win.
Newpark gaffer Wd whilst welcoming the win admitted the visitors were unlucky, losing a key midfielder after half an hour then having a goal disallowed early in the 2nd half. The return game will be tough, of that there is no doubt, but if they can somehow eke out another win, the Stirlingshire team would climb to the top of the Division.
