Hunting for good Will
"If this is 'Second Season syndrome' I don't care for it," Matchsticks Men manager Tony Brazil is flabbergasted after their opening day 1-1 draw with Folklore Flamenco, "drawing matches we should be winning. We were putting on the style in the first half then Flamenco danced their way through and scored with their only chance of the half.
"The second half started brutally, resulting in ref Will Taykabribe awarding us a penalty, which Boim blasted home for the equaliser. Good Will then sent off a Flamenco player. We piled on the pressure and it looked like successful murder on the dance floor as Marcelino got the ball in the net in injury time.
"The ref had other ideas and disallowed the goal, bad Will then blew up for full time and ran for cover after inflaming Estadio Lucifer with his decision," Brazil looks up from stuffing fireworks in Mr Taykabribe's car exhaust, "where was good Will when we needed him?"
