Spartak Wicklow had to settle for 2nd place in the league but gained promotion after a 1-0 win in the qualifiers. Captain Azaad Rahimi scored a dramatic 92nd winner to secure promotion.
"The lads were fantastic and they fully deserved to go up. They might have enjoyed themselves a bit too much with the celebrations but that's allowed, the hardworking starts here now. We saw a few lads grow as a footballers over the season but a couple didn't progress as we hoped so we will in the market for players and we will need to strengthen to compete next season"
