Tiresomely inconsistent
Yet another Sunday gone, yet another disappointing result. It's actually shocking how we're still in second place behind the mighty Portuguese. It is however an extremely tight affair from our second spot down to the relegation spot, only a mere two point seperation between runner-up and getting the boot from top flight.
Sigtuna were very much the better team last night, and tactically superior. We've had very successful matches against them in recent years, and the luck stays somewhat since we should've lost last night unless Huselius weren't a literal brick wall to get through for the Sigtuna attack. Markus did very well tactically and all I can do is applaud him for it, he should've been awarded 3 points for the effort.
We had a very strange day offensively. We weren't able to create a single tiny scoring chance despite having great form on both midfielders and strikers. I guess the conclusion is that an attacking playstyle isn't the same in X11 as it is in the real world, which I obviously knew but at the same time forgotten how immensely overpowered a defensive style is whilst playing away from home.
Let's see where the rest of this season takes us. Two easier outings awaits and I want to play some youth, but that might not be too feasible unless we want to drop down to the dreaded relegation zone.
