Kiss of death
FK Radnik Roystjina hopes of surviving in Division 3d are disappearing fast after a thorough mauling from xx French Kiss FC xx on Sunday.
The home side were Radnik's target, as they sat fourth in the table but level on points with fifth. Those two teams were on 13 to the Roystjina side's 6 however, with the gap never looking like being closed during a one-sided match. Radnik were the first side to hit the target. but unfortunately Ge Zhu Ge's defection merely put the ball past his own goalkeeper to put Kiss ahead. When the hosts added a second soon after the break it appeared to be game over.
Radnik did give themselves brief hope when Beau Hanks halved arrears five minutes after going 2-0 down, only for a third for the home side on 70 minutes to reassert control, a fourth on 80 sealing the game. That left Radnik still stuck in 3d bottom three, and still 7 points from safety though now with just 4 games left to recover that deficit.
Radnik boss Janik remarked afterwards "We were not good enough. Which is ominous. But we have to ignore such omens as next Sunday at St0ke City is a must win game. But that is also true of our hosts as well - they are a point behind us. In all likelihood it will end up as a suits-no-one draw. and even if it doesn't we are both probably going down anyway. But even so, you have to try, don't you?"
