BLUES SURVIVE
AFC Kinels hung onto their Division 4g status at the weekend with a 1 - 1 draw away to St0ke City.
"We made it hard for ourselves didn't we?" said Boss Bluewisey after the match. The Blues took the lead in the 72nd minute through Lowe's crisp shot in the penalty area but St0ke's 81st minute equaliser made it a nerve jangling end to the game for the AFC Kinel faithful.
"Given our strong start to the campaign it's a shame that it we desperately needed that single point on the final day to stay up but everyone at the club is delighted. This was the goal at the start of the season and we achieved that.
"We've never been able to stay at this level for more than a season in the past. Now we need to do our best to build on that."
