A Welcome Victory
Sir Rudi Skacel FC come of a fantastic victory this week as they put Cybermen to the sword in a convincing 2-0 victory. The win has provided some real breathing space for the first time this year as we now sit 7 points clear of the relegation spaces in our first season back in division 4. We now have the chance to compete for 2nd place as we stay in 3rd level on points with second place Toowoomba Raiders.
To the game and we left it relatively late to make the breakthrough, Gurcan Erer on 74 minutes before Olvan Magarian scored in the 90th minute from a well worked free kick. We dominated possession and chances but had to be patient. It was the same last week against Gibson's Warriors, patience is key and again it came after the introduction of our youngsters, Kalamkarian & Karamalian both making their mark.
It's on to Gavle Snipers this week, I may take the opportunity to blood some youngsters, Kalfian in goals, Manookian in the middle and Yepremian up top all need some game time and this could be the opportunity...
