Tight Tight Tight
It's been a couple of weeks since Jambosteve86 last spoke to the press. I have spent some time in Germany watching my beloved Scotland bow out in the group stages as per usual and was making some damning drunken calls to arrange tactics for the game against Toowoomba Raiders, I was aswell not even bothering as we were smashed 3-0 without creating a single chance.
2 defeats on the bounce and the so the importance of the match against Gibsons Warriors could not be understated. We thought we had made the perfect start through talisman Gurcan Erer, however it was ruled out for offside. We didn't have to wait long as the goal machine Ferhan Yesil popped one in from long range. It was a quiet game as far as chances went and it was the away side who hit back next. Early into the second half Ireneusz Lipiec was quickest to the ball in a sharp counter. Jambosteve rolled the dice and brought on 3 of his youngsters in the next 10 minutes and it paid dividends as Olvan Magarian headed in with 20 minutes left and that's how the game finished with a very welcome 3 points.
Somehow we find ourselves level on points with 2nd place and a play-off position but still only 4 points clear of the relegation places. Nothing is decided yet, however a victory over Cybermen this week would go a long way and put some breathing space between us and the chasing pack. It's a trip to runaway leader Gavle SNIPERS after that.
