Div 2b title
South Hooligans has... somehow... clung on to top spot in Division 2b and secured another title along with promotion up to Division 1.
A 0-0 draw away to Pars United worked out well for both teams - the point for Pars secured their safety in the division, and the point gave us the title on goal difference over Big Brown Bears. There were some very nervous moments across the 90 minutes... BBB piled on 5 goals within the first half so we were watching their game very closely - 3 goals in the second half and the title was theirs. Thankfully, that didn't eventuate!
Then in our own game, Pars United found the back of the net in the 82nd minute and it looked like we have thrown it away with only 8 minutes remaining in the entire season... but thankfully it was ruled out for offside.
A big sigh of relief around the club and an exciting prospect moving back up to Division 1 - the first time we've reached that level since we were last there in Season 44.
