After the drought a deluge
"Finally we score a goal, I'd almost forgotten how to celebrate," Matchstick Men manager Tony Brazil dances on top of the dugout at the Peaceful Conquerors Arena as his team score on the fifth minute.
By half-time Matchstick Men are leading five nil and Brazil is worn out, by the fifth he is merely punching a fist into the air, "goal!"
Things calm down in the second half with only one more goal to enjoy, so Brazil is able to conduct a press release without holding onto his desk for support, "six goals today, it's good to know we still have it in us after our recent run of nil nillers.
"After the drought a deluge, ha ha," Brazil cackles a hollow laugh, "the season has started well for us, and lets hope we carry on this goal glut in our first league match, against Gregory Gains. I note our goal-scoring legend Haas didn't score any of the six today, I'm hoping he is keeping his powder dry for that league match.
"A hat trick will be handy Mr Haas," Brazil looks over at his player with a sneering smile.
Haas ignores his manager, he is busy contacting his agent about a transfer.
