I believe anguish is the purpose of all do-it-yourself stuff. |

Ah, forgot to say: I'm putting mortar only to those areas exposed to air: about 70-80 cm on one short side and 170 cm on the other (with a margin, so about 90 and 180 cm). But still, this makes some anxiety-provoking 100 000 square metres to crawl around and smear, screw up and scream. |

Well, they told me to put on stone imitation boards, but I realized that would need much experience to not look tacky, so I asked if not chicken wire and mortar would do: "Oh yeah, that's the best - seals everything much better. But much more work." So, as always, I decided for the most tiresome way |

So I did. Then nothing happened.
Until two years later - last month, when I finally whipped myself to submission and began putting chicken wire on the styrofoam and then applying mortar. This is so f-cking hard. I'm a handy man, but probably the slowest mason in Sweden. |

Weel, I've spent the last weeks trying to finish the outside shape up of my house. Two years ago, when buying it, I had to dig up the incoming communal water pipe and install a new. As we did this the man with the excavator adviced me to use the opportunity and put some styrofoam on the foundation. |

Cheers, mon ami.
Ce soir, je ne bois pas de rhum. Je suis assis ici par le feu d'un gin tonic. Gordon's - le seul et unique. |

Then are you familiar with "L'Origine du monde" by Gustave Courbet? |

Your recent avatars would suggest otherwise - a man of simple, raw taste. Of course, the need to show off such explicit sexuality can be further on tested, but I don't psychoanalyze anyone for free. |

Och aye, I don't have whisky that often - but found I like Lagavullin, Talisker, Cragganmore and Ardbeg. Think I sometime had a sip or two of Bowmore as well. |

Wine tasting? That was a surprise. So much of a surprise it stopped me from replying to Westerlind. I think it's for the best. Gourmet food too? |
