Gwernfadog United have won their first league title in years after beating Shetland Superstars 2-1 at home.
"We hadn't conceded in a few games so when we went 0-1 down at home to an own goal it took us by surprise. Fortunately we showed our quality and started to create chances. We dominated the game in the end but we should have scored twice as many as we did.
"All that we care is that we've won the league, got promotion and remain unbeaten. We've got one last game to play, which we'll play some reserves in. Although it would be nice to go the full season unbeaten and reach 30 points."
United play Stoke Potters at home on the final game with the away side still in a relegation battle.
