Capacity crowd at The White House Ground
Oxfordshire FC took to the field for their first ever competitive fixture, against SV Grolse in the Pro League Cup, in front of a capacity 3000 crowd.

The carnival atmosphere that greeted the two teams didn't extend to the pitch, as much more experienced SV Grolse showed their class by putting the tie to bed in the opening 30 minutes. All four goals of their 4-0 win came in the first half.

Oxfordshire's manager commented after the game:

"We faced an experienced team playing their 196th competitive game, with a 3 skill bar per man improvement on what we can offer at present.

"I have to say I am delighted with my team's attitude, never once did they drop their heads. This bodes well for the future. After all this was our first ever game, they will learn from this and fortunately we won't be playing this calibre of opposition every week!"
