Somewhere between shaky and decent start
The new manager has now managed the Fremont team for two games and so far no one is completely convinced by the teams performance.

Today's league opener at home was a solid 2-0 victory but many bush league experts felt that the team could have done more, especially given that the opposing side coach had been found at a local pub just hours before the game and never made it to the Haven at all. FFC showed immense hunger and after just 7 minutes had managed to achieve a comfortable 2-0 lead. Then pretty much nothing happened and here it seems the manager could have done more to motivate his squad.

Another season affecting event of the game was the 62 minute injury to veteran FFC defender Leonel Henrique. He will now miss the next 1-2 league games leaving the coach with pretty much all youth team defenders in front 39 year old hothead keeper Gökmen Ulusal.

A youth squad was featured heavily in the first leg of the first round of the Xtreme League Cup and they left the fans shocked when they conceded 3 goals in 40 minutes against relatively weak opposition. Luckily for both the teams, managers and fans nerves they did show strength when they turned the game around and managed to achieve a 3-3 draw setting things up for what at least looks like an easy home win this Friday.

The cup upset also got the FFC manager to act in the transfer market making two late silly season signings of veteran players that'll hopefully help the youths with some much needed experience and stress management. A move that very much helped in the league opener where newly signed 31 year old striker Ambjörn Palmstierna scored both goals for the home team.
