The Warriors go to the Play Offs
After their strongest season in his campaign, Theswantonlad's Warriors find themselves in the play off spot missing out on top by a single point.

The Warriors have been under reconstruction and development since their managerial take over 3 seasons ago and In such time no one could of imagined what was to follow.

Theswantonlad tore apart a struggling side and built it from the foundations up into a team with pure potential and goal scoring power, this season alone his side have scored 40 league goals to become the divisions top scoring team. Mostly down to their young striker Kieran Cleese who has set the division alight this season netting 19 league goals to secure the divisions top scorer by 5 goals.

The Gildan Warriors manager held a press conference earlier after their 5.1 win to cross the finish line;

"To say im proud of these guys is an understatement. I told them when we first started this season that if they gave it everything and done everything I asked them to then we would be where we wanted to be when we reached this point.

The lads have been outstanding this season, we can't look back to the two draws against the bottom two because not every team can be perfect, we've lost against Leith Hearts home and away but still managed to finish a point behind them.

When I brought Kieran in I saw a 17 year old striker with bags of potential and a pure goal scorer. This season the lads matured into a 19 year old professional footballer who's taken the golden boot by some margin. For a 19 year old to score 20 goals in a season is outstanding and im looking forward to working with him in the future to develop him into the player I know he can be.

We haven't just been a one man team this season, the whole team have really come together. The only thing we haven't achieved is being tighter at the back this season, we've conceded 22 goals this season which could ultimately be the reason we have to go through the play offs but we're here now and we will give the playoff game everything we have!.

We're yet to find out our opponents but whoever we face we will finish this season with no regrets"

The Gildan Warriors finish the season just pipping Platinum Stars to the play off spot and Theswantonlad showed great respect for his fellow managers;

" We have been pushed to the wire this season and the work Jk is doing with the Stars will no doubt see them become a stronger team in the future and I wish him and his team the best of luck for the future. I also have great respect for the trophy lifting team Leith Hearts who well deservingly took the title this season. they have a great balance of age and experience and the way they have been playing this season is impressive. Hopefully we will see them around division 5 next season"

The Warriors ended the conference thanking all their fans for the loyalty and outstanding support throughout the season and they hope to give them something to celebrate in the coming weeks.
