CHAMPIONEEEES!!! CHAMPIONEEES!!!
That was the loud celebratory sounds ringing out from the home dressing room last night after a dominant 3-1 win against Dark Horses ensured a promotion and the title of Champions of Division 3e.
It has taken since joining the Xpert League in October 2021 when Newpark FC entered into Division 6:32 in season 64 to get to where they are now, slowly, but steadily, building the team and climbing up the Divisions.
Gaffer Wd has been leading the Club since it's inception and he admitted he was a proud man at the after match press conference, praising the players for their professionalism and commitment to the cause, whilst applauding the supporters for their dedication and the raucous vocal support they bring to every game.
Finally Wd thanked the Board for their unstinting support in allowing him to successfully implement his footballing strategy. He also reminded everyone to enjoy this seasons success as it will undoubtedly be a lot tougher in Division 2 next season where stabilising and trying to stay there will be the main objective.
