A 5-0 home win against Caol Ila FC, along with other resultsgoing their way saw Newpark FC close the gap on leaders Die Krausen 11 to one point and a head to head game with them next up.
In fact 2 wins in their last 2 games, both away from home, the second game being against 3rd placed Kung Fu Hustle...themselves vying for promotion, will quite unbelievably send Newpark into Division 2.
The chances of that happening though are so slim..but it's good to let the supporters dream of the impossible actually happening.
