"Mistakes were made just about covers that one. I looked at that game as our best chance of winning a game in this group and that resulted in far too attacking tactics as I went chasing a win rather than trying to play to our strengths.

"I was also far too predictable and didn't expect them to change their own tactics which was clearly a bad idea, it's the XCL and everyone pays a bit more attention to opposition tactics for these games. The third mistake was not taking into account their form, I did see that they looked to be on high form going into the game but that really compounded my other mistakes.

"They had better tactics and deserved to win, I made silly errors and we're now highly unlikely to qualify. It's quite the turnaround from our last game in the XCL when we almost won by 2 goals to turn it around away to one of the strongest teams on the game at that time. We'll need a couple of games like that if we're to get anywhere near the top 2."
