Covid and the cup final

The Master League cup final went ahead with fans even with Covid still going about! It just couldnt stop the mighty 80,000 Summerhill Fans traveling to the final!!! The media said it was like turning up to a car boot sale when they got to the outside of the stadium. Car boots were open and all the fans had their tables out and instead of selling old junk the tables were all full of drink...........it was party time.

The game went ahead but Summerhill manager Coozie wasnt sure about this one as the team's form was low. The best team was picked but a couple of players with high form were left on the bench. With only 31min played the Hill went down 0-1 and Coozie started to think it wasnt the right decision to keep them on the bench but we held on till half time. It was time to get the high form youths on and boy was it the right decision! On the 82min Kegger gets us back into the game and into extra time where super sub Milanese smashes in the winner and the 80,000 drunk Summerhill fans go mental with Summerhill FC going on to win the Cup.

The only thing I fear now as we head into the Champions League is we come away with zero points. The team is just not there and we just dont have the funds to compete.

Anyway is two Master League Cup wins in 11 real years enough for Coozie to keep his job?? We shall see.......
