The Fifth Column
Division 4o, Power League
Manager: Woodstock11
So far, so good
The first week of the season is over and it is so far, so good for The Fifth Column.

Most importantly the team progressed to the next round of the cup today as this is vital for the development of the players. They managed to do it with playing 95% of the youngest in the team so this is great.

In the league the Five Point's club obviously lost their first game and that will be almost every game of the season at an average age of 20 now.

In more groundbreaking news the club made the finishing transfers in what has been the biggest overhaul of the squad ever. First keeper Didi de Kat was sold for a nice sum to be replaced with not one but two teenage goalkeepers. Also a defender was added and the team now consists of the maximum of 23 players.

"Yes 23 is a bit crazy. But as the players are so young and play very seasoned and experienced opponents for now we think we can manage good development as long as we maintain high form. As a whole this would mean reaching the boundaries of what is possible in maximising overall development and this should serve the team well long-term. Obviously as the team ages we will reduce the squad size again a bit."

Next up is one of the more fun games of the season as last season's rival are also rebuilding; Uppsala UFOs will be hosted in Hells Kitchen.
