Vice gearing up for big 2nd season |
After a disappointing 3rd place finish in a division of mostly absent managers, Warren Vice manager Pierre Hookier is looking to recapture his private league form in his 2nd season in the public sector.
Speaking to Gazzetto del Warren, Pierre said, “I made the critical mistake of suggesting to fellow private league managers to join the Xtreme league and we ended up being grouped together. While I took the long term approach, these two oil barons swung their big old wallets around the league with “massive win bonuses” and short term purchases of high skilled veterans. I will never buckle on my values, and will continue to invest in and develop young players.”
Gazetto del Warren is now reporting that the silver tongued Hookier’s words were nothing more than a smoke screen as he has already purchased three high skilled veterans since the reopening of the transfer window. When confronted about his compromised values, Hookier explained, “when a man is in quarantine with a close season transfer window and massive war chest, he’ll do crazy things. I missed the rush of last minute bidding war. I finally feel alive again.”
