Economic Girlymen have maintained their 100% start to the season with a crushing 6-0 win over Pink Panthers. 36 year old veteran Zsigmond Barsi tucked away a 4th minute penalty on his first start of the season, and from then on the match was one-way traffic. Divino Gallardo hit a hattrick and 17 year old Gregório Bastinhas scored his first goal in senior football. The unfortunate Evan Bale put through his own net to round out the scoring for the visitors who continue to defy the critics by remaining unbeaten.
Girlymen manager Pacific Panache has told his players to keep improving if the want to retain top spot on the League:
"We will soon face two matches against Union Deportiva. Union are the only team in this Division who can realistically threaten us at this stage, but we can't take them lightly. The two matches agains them will define our season, and we will need to play better when we reach that stage.
Having said that, scoring six goals does feel pretty good, doesn't it?"
