It is madness down Moss Lane as Marta Varao walks deliberately slowly off the pitch, applauding the away fans and giving discreet fingers to ref Ian Hartman. The Hippy Chicks traveling support combine cheering and booing as they try to convey their emotions as Marta is sent off with a straight red card on 40 minutes. 
 
There is pure anger pouring off the rest of the stadium as the Mosshagen faithful react to being two-nil down then seeing this nancy-girl Varao's disdain and unrepentant mockery at her sending off. Anger all the more bitter as Varao has scored one of the goals and assisted the other.
 
"Marta Varao takes the biscuit," munches Hippy Chicks manager Tony Brazil, "but she has me over a barrel. Thanks to her, and despite her red card, we won the match to go top of the league. That's a great place to be, and with all the carry on her image rights have gone through the roof."
