DV Doubles Not Nailed On

FC Vitorul a few weeks back looked like unlikely promotion candidates and on course to register double rises for three of their promising youngsters. On the eve of the play-off it looks as though they will end up with nothing. Previous encounters with ACD Soito have been fruitless one-sided affairs and any chance FCV may have had looks to have been derailed by the injury to Setembro. Given that the season's objective was just to stay up, finishing second in a most competitive division will be remembered as a fine achievement. It is however the likely missing out on double rises for Anacleto, Bernstein and Carballo that will hurt, given all three looked well on course but like the rest of the team, have run out of gas It is disappointingly looking likely that each will fail to hit their high target. All three will be given the full ninety minutes tonight as the club commits to DV to salvage something other than pride for what has been a fine season.
