Seymour Red sends manager to stand
Camberwick Greens' manager Hugh Jambo was sent to the stands at half-time in the 4-1 defeat to Manic Utd earlier today.

Jambo emerged for the second half and was escorted to a seat in the stands at Gold Trafford as his side dropped to fourth in the table. The 49-year-old Scotsman then moved to the directors' box.

Referee Seymour Red had dismissed a Camberwick Greens penalty appeal late in the first half.

"I think the events of the last week have got to him," said MOTD pundit Alan Handsome, "I think that it was a penalty, though."

It comes after a week in which Hugh Jambo was charged by the Xpert Football Association for comments he made about referee Irre Levant, and also said living alone in Trumpton is a, "bit of a disaster".

He has until 18:00 GMT on Monday to respond to the misconduct charge over his comments about Levant.

The XFA is awaiting the referee's report from this afternoon and could charge Jambo for a second time in a week.

Greens are fourth in the League 6:36 and have taken 4 points from Jambo's first 3 league games in charge of the club, and look like exiting the Xpert Cup next week to the Dragoncats.

"Jambo still doesn't know his best XI,"  said pundit Chippy Minton, "is Jambo cracking under the pressure?"

Jambo did not speak to the media after a match which United dominated, with 9 vs 2 efforts at goal.

Assistant boss Brian Cant told Xpert TV Match of the Day, "I don't know what happened. It is not important what Hugh said. What is important is what the referee writes in his report.

"The referee did fantastic work", said Greens' assistant Cant, "Jambo must 'face up to it'".

Former Green trainee Gobbie Savage, speaking on Xpert Radio 5 live's 606 programme, said,
"is this one massive club too far for Hugh Jambo?

"He's still only had 3 games in the league so he needs time. But he needs to start doing better.

"Camberwick Greens is a different animal to managing Chigley Town. It's the biggest club in the world, along with FC Portland and Margem Sul FC.

"Getting sent off today, not doing the press conference after. Come on. You're managing the biggest club in Trumptonshire; you have a global responsibility to all of the fans across the land.

"You have to face up. He's got to go in there and not say anything about Seymour Red; he's just got to be sensible. I want to hear from him because I love listening to him."

Camberwick Greens finished the game with 10 men after Rui Pedro's second-half dismissal for two yellow cards.

"I think the referee did fantastic work. I won't say more than this," said Cant.

Jambo was seen passing notes to coach Alf "The Lord" Belborough, to get his messages from the stand to the dugout.
