Swaffellen have been relegated.
In a press conference held earlier today round the back of the stables in Hyrule Field, the notoriously quiet manager of Swaffelen F.C, Mikey546, held a press conference to discuss his future at the club.
As the media grew restless of being gathered in Little Tony's little stable pen, Mikey546 emerged from behind a bale of hay.
The only question asked during this extremely rare encounter - "What are your plans for the future?"
"I knew before the start of the season it was going to be a tough one... and it was."
Despite the press conference being billed as Mikey546's future at the club we have been left none the wiser to what he plans on doing next season or if he will quit the club.
Although Swaffelen F.C may not have any supporters we're sure it would be sad to lose a manager who took over the club nearly 3 years ago from the mediocre depths of division 4 and rewrite history with their highest ever finish, 5th place in div 2.
As there were no supporters to ask, we spoke to a couple of the players as they left the training ground on the club's last official day of the season.
Club captain and youth team product Christian Fisher had this to say about Mikey546:
"I hate him, I want him to leave my club, six points in a season, if we had any fans he'd be out the door!!"
Well, things could be worse for Mikey546, if the gossip columns at the back of the Goron Daily is anything to go by he looks set for some okay development from his youngish squad and has a small war-chest to spend over the break.
