There is everything to play for with one game left. Three teems are hovering around the last relegation spot separated by only one point. On the face of it Streatham are in pole position with their one point advantage over rivals FC United and Chorley but a look at the final round of fixtures puts FC United as favourites. They face already relegated Lemon Goats while Chorley face already into the playoffs Neptune nights. Meanwhile Streatham face the visit of Comexotas.
CQM was in no mood to mince his words at this mornings press conference. "We're doomed!" He wailed as somewhere a lonely bugler played Taps. "Doomed I tells ya... How can it have come to this, hounds baying at my heels, the "gentlemen of the press" yes that's right you lot, dogging my every footstep. I can't step out of my home banging a drum and stark naked without some heartless press photographer turning up 50 minutes later. This is all the players fault, why can't they just do what I tell them at the start of every match? My instructions aren't complicated, go out and win you lumpen idiots is what I say to them but do they listen? Well occasionally they do I suppose, 6 times this season but that's not good enough is it? I ask you? And so now I'm questioned repeatedly about my suitability for the job. I tell you I am suitable, is it my fault I have no experience and a terrible temperament? Of course it isn't now sod off the lot of you, my girlfriend is coming round and I still haven't got the wife out of the house."
With that CQM let of a smoke bomb and started shouting darling get out of the house and go to your mothers, I'll call the fire brigade. Come back around 5pm she should be gone by then... erm I mean the fire should be out by then...
