The AntiChrists Appoint Joaric |
Joaric did not have time to attend a press conference before his first game in charge, but he has now met with press following that game, which resulted in a loss.
"First of all I would like to say thank you to the players and the fans of my previous team, AFC Stepping Stone. We had some good times, and I wish them all the best for the future.
"Now, The AntiChrists. What can I say? The most successful club ever called me up and wanted to meet. How could I say no? Yes, the team is in need of shaping up, but there are still some of the legends here that won multiple titles.
"The board wanted a manager with experience of changing an aging team in to a team of the future, while successfully getting relegated several times.
"I will aim to stay up in the top five Divisions, but this is going to take time. While we still have the legends at the club they will be teaching the younger players a fair bit, and I'm hopeful some will become coaches too.
"This season will be difficult to stay up as well as giving big match experience to the younger players, but we will give it a go. The main thing is the continued existence of this club, which I feel is in reasonably good hands now, following three managers deserting it in just over a year. I'm here to stay."
