Fryston Warriors
Division 5:2, Final League
Manager: ItaliaPrince
FC Rocco Div 5:19 Champions
FC Rocco have finally made it to Division 4 in the official leagues for the 1st time. Only 2 seasons ago they were battling relegation before hitting a decent run of form to finish 3rd & avoid relegation in Division 5 in the 1st time in the club's history.

Then last season the club bettered their performance with being runners-up but lost out on a penalty shoot out. We were not too downbeat as we drew a tough team & didn't expect to run them as close as we did so we actually took the positives from this.

This season FC Rocco didn't think they were in with a chance with the likes of Blok 72 & The Dominant Force in the league as the manager explained "We thought we would be battling The Powerpuff Girls, The Toffees, M Jays & USC Gamecocks between places 3-7. It was a mega tough league with really decent teams so to win it with a game to spare is an amazing achievement for us."

The boss also went onto reflect "It has been a privilege battling against great teams with great managers this season & the friendly sporting rivalry between the gaffers this season has been refreshing.

Teams like USC Gamecocks & Highland Toffees I expect will be back up to Division 5 in no time. Also if Blok, The Force, M Jays & Powerpuff all avoid been drawn together then must be very very strong contenders for automatic promotion next season. However that brings me onto the play-offs so 1 of these teams will & (hopefully) gets promoted anyway.

So as always going into final game we focus firstly on what will be best from a development point of view now that we have the luxury of not having the must win game. Any 11 players from this team is more than capable of getting a result & we will be professional & try to put in a decent performance to get a result against The M Jays FC as would only be fair to the teams all battling for second place."

Good luck to the managers of this season's class of division 5:19 & wish you future success moving forward.
